Rare 1973 CJ-5 Super Jeep at 2014 SEMA Show

The Jeep brand had a special appearance at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show this year in Las Vegas. A rare, restored 1973 CJ-5 Super Jeep made its way to the Rugged Ridge Off-road Success Center, which was one of only a few hundred models made that year and even more scarce over 40 years later.

Custom models like the Jeep Cherokee Dakar, Maximum Performance Wrangler, and the Wrangler Mojo also made an appearance, and the Jeep Wrangler received the award for "Hottest 4x4-SUV," an honor it has won for five consecutive years.

The Wrangler was also acknowledged as the most customized vehicle in its category, due to the 300+ parts provided by the Mopar and Jeep brands, including suspension components, skid plates, bumpers, lift kits, winches, and exterior add-ons that give each Jeep Wrangler owner a personalized touch.
